The North Carolina Arts Council is a partner with the Southern Arts Federation and eight other southeastern states in the Southern Artistry web site, www.southernartistry.org, an online showcase for the range, diversity, and talent of the regional artist community. Each state is allotted a limited number of slots annually for the site. North Carolina draws its nominees from a pool of Arts Council grant award recipients and directory artists to ensure that visitors to the Southern Artistry web site will see exemplary work by some of our state's best artists, as selected by peer review and professional panels.
